Color is a big deal here at studio bon! One quick look at our line will tell you that hue, shade, and saturation play an important role in the design of each pattern. Keeping up with the latest and hottest color trends is as important as it is fun. Today we turned to the Spring 2011 runway coverage at Vogue for some color insight and inspiration. Our verdict? Bright, bold, and saturated shades of honeysuckle and clementine are going to be huge this Spring and Summer!

On a side note, Pantone announced Honeysuckle to be the 2011 Color of the Year. This is how they describe its essence:

“Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing ‘everyday’ about it.”

We would say they are spot on!
