Now that we’re gearing up for spring, who doesn’t dream of sitting on their porch with an ice cold lemonade in hand?

Our friends over at Chairloom have been whipping up some really great custom furniture pieces, and their most recent project is just what we’re dreaming of, a custom upholstered porch swing made from salvaged materials.

How amazing is this!  Our favorite part is that it’s upholstered in our very own Ric Rac in Pool, the perfect color to brighten your day.chairloom.before
Now only if we lived closer to Chairloom in Ardmore, PA so we could try the swing out for ourselves!

Here at Studio Bon Textiles, we are always excited to learn about the beautiful projects that our hand-printed textiles find their way into! From sophisticated home residences to playful children’s rooms to posh restuarants, the applications are far-reaching.  However, once your precious goods have been packaged and sent, we rarely get the opportunity to enjoy the final design.  So this is an official Call to Entry!  We would love to see how you chose to use our fabric.

Enter your project for a chance to win a feature of your project on our blog and Studio Bon fabric from our current collection.  Send us your best project photograph featuring a Studio Bon textile.  Send us your name or firm name, a brief description of the design, what inspired your Studio Bon selection, and a link to your website.  Email to with “Call to Entry” in the subject line.  The contest opens today and closes June 14th, 2013 at midnight. Contest awards are as follows:

  • 1st Place – 4 Yards
  • 2nd Place – 3 Yards
  • 3rd Place – 2 Yards

All finalists will be announced on June 21st, 2013 and will be featured on the studio bon (text)iles blog.  Studio Bon maintains the right to use images submitted for the Call to Entry contest.
